How can I get a red, blue, and black deck without the case/box?

Just choose the $25 “Red vs Blue” level, but put $35 as your pledge amount.

When the backer surveys are sent after the project ends, you will be able to indicate that you added one black deck of cards to your rewards.

Hey what about the book of Erfworld card games?

When we first announced that we were working on a deck of playing cards in 2014, I called for readers to invent Erfworld themed games you could play with a regular poker deck. We even tested some of these at Gencon in 2014. You can read the thread in the forums and try these games out, too. http://forums.erfworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6854

I said that I wanted to publish a book of these, and that’s definitely still in the works. But the testing that we did really showed us how many more hundreds of hours of playtesting is probably required to do it right, and end up with a book of fun, playable games.

Our plans for the gametable is a big part of making that happen. What we want to do with the $12K if we can raise it is to get the gametable really playable for ordinary playing card games, and also integrate some shared documents and notes features which would let the authors of those games create a game setup they control. Others could then test and evaluate and make suggestions about the game.

We think we could unlock some really incredible games, if we just had the person-hours to test them and shake out the obvious hitches. So that’s where we are with the plan on the book, and I definitely have not forgotten about it. Some of the games people came up with were really fun and need to find more players, both on the Erfworld site and in “realspace.”

I'm subscribed to the Toolshed. Won't I be getting one of these for free?

Yes! For Tools (Erfworld supporters who are pledged to the Toolshed), we will be sending out a free black deck of the playing cards as soon as we hit Milestone 4. You won’t get the badge, the Decrypted orly unit, the panel-by-panel download of Book 1, or any future group rewards unless you pledge this project specifically. But your support is very much appreciated, and we have planned for a long time to send you these cards as a thank you. More details about Free Cards Day in this news post:

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
